Blue Brigham

Blue Brigham was started in July, 2019 by me, Adam Gibby. I grew up loving BYU Sports and outside of his mission to Oaxaca, Mexico from 2013-2015, I have not missed a single broadcasted BYU Football or Basketball game since 2007. I graduated from BYU with a degree in News Media but decided that instead of working for television I wanted to be a sports writer and teacher. For the first three years, I wrote as a Contributor Writer and later a Site Expert for the Fansided page, Lawless Republic.

However, after three years and well over 1,000,000 pageviews, I felt that although I loved writing about BYU Sports, I needed to fulfill my own dream of running a BYU Sports site. I used my limited knowledge of website design and did a lot of research to create what we have today in Blue Brigham.

Blue Brigham gives me the ability to write how I want about what I want in regards to BYU Sports. While I do try to stick to the news and stories around BYU sports, sometimes it is nice to leave an opinion piece out there for the world to read.
